Should you date someone you work with?

I've been working with this girl for over a year now and really like her. I have no idea how that approach the situation cause if she doesn't like me I don't want it to be awkward working together especially if she was to know. Advice please.

I dont recommend it not because of professional reasons . But also for some social and personal ones. Like ur coworkers and patron are gonna start to talk about it and discuss it how u started dating and u took the working place as a place of intimate introduction between two emplyees. Also if any personal problems occur between botb of them in the relashionship this is gonna affect the level of ur work cooperation with the employee. On the other hand I dont mind it if both partners applied for a job in the same place or one of them committed to the other after one of them left. Its more like a question of control and social reputation.

No, I never advise people to get into a workplace romance because if things don't work out then it could mean trouble in the workplace and no one wants to be in a negatively charged environment.

I would suggest not. I had sex with a coworker once and it got real awkward after.
