You are going to have to account for the money to liv,e however long you stay, since you cannot work without a visa. You will be told at the border how long you can stay, with a maximum of 6 months in exceptional circumstances.

There is provision for someone to stay in Canada with funding, for six months in any twelve. In six months, out six months. However, immigration is going to wonder if you are trying to live illegally in Canada.

Your maximum stay in Canada under visa-free entry for tourism only is 180 days (just under 6 months) out of any 365-day period. So if you stay 180 days (day of entry & day of departure both count as separate days!), you must be out of Canada for a little over 6 months before you can return.

6 months........however Canada may or may not allow you in or to stay as long, maybe they will tell you 2 weeks before you have to leave as visa free 6 months HOLIDAY is not allowed to be used as part time living annually and who gets 6 months holiday every year...... Each and every country you are a guest when on holiday and just like any guest you can outstay your welcome

You should check the Canadian Embassy's website. Don't rely on random internet people for that.
