Can a landlord add a W/D fee when the W/D been in the apartment for years?

Can a Landlord add a washer and dryer fee in the new lease? The washer and dryer has been in the apartment for 5 years now and each lease their wasn't mention of it. but this new lease mentioned a $75 washer and dryer fee. We pay for all the utilities including water which comes up to about $60-$65.

    Yes. When renewing a lease, the landlord is free to change the terms. Your free to refuse to sign and move out.

    Yes. The LL can change the terms of the lease when he renews it. You can either accept the change or give notice and move.

    Yes. When negotiating a new lease they can make what ever changes they see fit. You either agree & sign or do not agree & move out.

    Yes, I'm surprised you werent getting charged for that because it would cost you that to rent a washer and dryer.

    If you are renewing a lease, he can change the terms. You don't have to agree to it and just give notice you want to move.

    If they didnt know about it, and if you were not supposed to have it installed without permission.
