    Life has no meaning other than that which the individual gives to it realizing that such is subjective and others may not accept the same.

    For life to have "meaning", there would need to be some supreme power that regulates, controls and directs all beings and existence towards an ultimate goal of said being's choosing and there is no evidence of a verifiable, reliable, quantifiable and observable nature to support the idea of such a being actually existing.

    Meaning of life is one of those most important questions that arise in our minds every once in a while and yet we never seem to find any 'right' answers.... this indicates that probably there is no fixed or definite meaning of life that applies to all universally at all times.... the meaning is perhaps as dynamic as life itself. I therefore believe that instead of trying to find a unified and universal meaning of life, we just need to apply our mind to what ever seems the most important to us as of now (not momentarily, but rather on a reasonably continued basis)..... we need to be genuine in our quest and as objective as possible..... since the current meaning arises from the current situation and circumstances of life, this meaning would keep changing as we proceed in our life whereby it would be dynamically changing course as is its wont. In other words, meaning of life lies in going along the current that the life itself follows rather than trying to find a cross or a jump ahead. We also need to realize and accept that there is nothing absolute nor ultimate in our world..... everything is relative and transient.

    What is life?

    ~~~ Imaginary!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    What is the purpose of life?

    ~~~ Close your eyes, for a moment.
    Imagine a meadow on a beautiful sunny day.
    In the center of the meadow stands a purple unicorn, and it is pooping sparkling diamond encrusted Twinkies!
    Got that?
    See it?
    Good!
    Now, I have a question for you;
    What is the purpose of that diamond Twinkie pooping unicorn?
    Therein lies your answer, grasshopper.
    Whether or not it has any meaning, is strictly up to your state Consciousness!
    Ponder it.
    What is the meaning of life?
    ~~~ ALL 'meaning' exists in the thoughts/imagination of the beholder!

    Life means whatever you imagine it to mean!

    There is no meaning of life.

    At least a dozen people a day ask this question.

    You get a mulligan. Any others I will flag.

    Have a nice day!

    To simply exist.

    We didn't choose to be born but we were so we accept it and live like all humans.

    depends. if you are an atheist, then we have no meaning: nobody put us here, we are just the result of a string of coincidences. if you are religious, then some higher being put you here, probably because they were bored.
