Can I Get Change at a Bank?

I'm 14 and I have a $100 bill. Could I go to a bank and ask them for 20, $5 bills?

More specifically, CIBC bank.

    Yes you can. My mom's workplace needed $2.00 coins and she sent me to CIBC to change (I'm 15)

    Sounds like CIBC will, but Chase Bank would NOT accept a $100 bill from me because I was not a customer. {And I only wanted to deposit in my daughter's account (!) << I left Chase years ago and never regretted it.}
