Given the severe problems of illegal aliens invading every European country & their islands around the Mediterranean, I'd rethink plans to vacation in that region. Friends cancelled their plans to vacation in Sicily, Malta & Greek Islands this fall. The situation is simply too unstable, and no telling how much more violence these people are going to perpetrate where or when.

It's a great place for a holiday. Just stay away from the islands near Turkey if you feel frightened. At least you have the choice unlike the poor locals who have to put up with all the illegals.
