will date seeds still sprout if they have been frozen ?

    Definitely. Any frozen seeds will grow. In fact, in order to preserve their viability, they keep them frozen. Please see doomsday seed vault in Norway.

    I'm thinking the same. Being tropical, freezing weather is not known to them except very, very briefly. I'd doubt freezing seed will germinate.

    I planted mine right after eating the date meat, & then pouring boiling water on them.

    Never have frozen them, and since they are a tropical fruit, I doubt it would help them any!
