What is the point of shutting down government when you will have to pay those people later for the time they couldn't work?

Oh, the GOP doesn't live in reality - they want to get Jesus to come back - so they need to destroy the government. Nothing matters to these people because they're insane.

Wait until the Social Security checks quit coming to the stupid people who just have to vote republican.

It MIGHT dawn on the moron trailer dwellers at some point to STOP voting for these creatures, but not yet. The country has to suffer a lot more before people will wake up.

That's the Republican Party, whining about people getting money for not working, then passing bills to repay furloughed workers

But the clear Republican front-runner fell flat at times during his talk, drawing limited applause and even boos for calling Sen. Marco Rubio a "clown" over illegal immigration. The boos continued as Trump talked through them, saying, "I've been so nice to him."

    Political grandstanding before the elections.

The party of No has no solutions, so they seek to break the government, just so they can point to it and say "it is broken, let our party tear it down."
