On what time is this sentence set :"I already had experienced it" and is the word "already" correctly placed?

I'm really curious about this. Is it past perfect, and does the word "already" fit in well where it's placed?

Yes, it is past perfect, which expresses an action/state of being before another time in the past. Most of the time people would say, "I had already experienced it," but you can use "already" where you have it and in other spots too.

I feel like it's just an extra word, you could say "I had experienced it" and it sounds fine. Or "I had already experienced it"
