I'm learning Japanese to test out of the college course. I'm trying to make a sentence. "--- saved my life"

Would it be "---は人生を助けれました。"?

    --- で上手くいった。 "--- de umaku itta." [why you've succeeded]

    --- で命拾いした。 "--- de inochi biroi shita." [why you have survived]
