does sin^2 = sin*sin?

    Yes of course. Sin² θ = Sin θ x Sin θ or (Sin θ)(Sin θ) or any other way you want to write it.

    Yes! So if you have

    sin^2(90 degrees)

    it'd be sin(90)=1

    and then 1x1 = 1

    technically yes.

    proof:

    sin(2)^2= .826...

    sin(2)sin(2)= .826

    you need to have a number thou, sin^2 doesn't exist.
