What do your registration papers say?
You already said it is a QH. Another asker looked it up and found it has some Hancock in it which is pretty obvious.
You know the horse's name and pedigree.
You have a pretty nice horse there why don't you go riding?

that horse is a QH cross probably with an Appy
Appaloosa's crosses will tend to be blanketed like this horse... and the QH blood tends to cause better mane and tail and better bone and heavier bodies
This horse ranch or stock company branded...U6... and if he's a "mustang" I'd not bet on it. Any idea who uses U6 out your way?
Nice Horse... I'd take two like him
Source(s): http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/king+david I cited this to show how the out crosses work in a very popular APPY stud horse... King David was a pretty popular stallion a few years back,,, - 6 years ago
Looks like a bay roan stock horse to me. Probably QH, perhaps POA, perhaps appy, perhaps mustang.

He is a bay roan. Very cute! Most likely he is a QH, PH, Appy, POA, or a Mustang. If he is a mustang he will be branded on his neck.
