Within the Big Bang theory : At the point (of decoupling / CMBR ) where the universe becomes visible, what size was it? (please show me how you got your answer.) 11 Oct 2015.

The observable universe was about 400 million parsecs in diameter at the decoupling time. That's based mainly on the angular power spectrum of the CMBR. This is an estimate, maybe it was half that size, or twice that size.
