Does Georgetown University require an essay?
I am currently doing my application for Georgetown University and I have not come across and essay so far. Since this university is not part of the Common Application, I do not know if they do require a writing supplement or not.

Wait till you get to the "Application Supplement" part of the application. Yes, there is an essay requirement (actually, three).

Yes, they require an essay. The topic is probably on their website. If you can't find it, email the admissions office.

It would be best to contact someone working in admissions. They would have the best information available.
