Hair troubles after dye? (Color bleeding like crazy, strawlike)?
My sister had her hair dyed at a hairdresser yesterday and is having a lot of problems with it. She got it dyed a deep blue. The color keeps bleeding, her hair reeks of chemicals, and the consistency of her hair is like plastic. The hairdresser was really inexperienced and she bleached her hair twice and then I think she put too much dye in. It took the hairdresser 8 hours to dye it and my sister doesn't have long hair. How can she stop the color from bleeding and how can she soften her hair?

Well i would definitely never go back to that hair dresser again. To stop the bleeding and soften the color she could give it a good wash but in cool water. If that doesn't help then the dye is probably a bad dye. To help with the straw-like hair she should soak her hair in coconut oil over night. I usually just run the coconut oil all through my hair and then put a shower cap on to sleep in. It works wonders. Just wash out the coconut oil the next day with some very good moisturizing shampoo and use conditioner like normal.
