What is the November Blackout?
I noticed some posts about a "November Blackout". Can someone please tell me what this means? Is this on purpose? Is this bad? I'm just so confused and worried. Is is just a rumor or has it actually been confirmed? I just want to know. Thanks.

It is a hoax.
Every year, we have tons of these "predictions" that are totally fake.
(a hoax is a lie, told by people who know it is a lie, just for the purpose of fooling other people).
This particular hoax (some period of darkness that will put humanity in trouble) became popular with the "end-of-the-world" hoax of May 2003 (the fake "Planet-X" killing 90% of the human race). It was used again for the Big 2012 Hoax (the so-called Mayan end-of-the-world, even though real Mayans never had anything to do with it) and it comes back every year since.
At first, it used to be that the hoaxers would invent some weird explanation for it. Now they don't even bother. They know that some people are gullible enough to believe this nonsense, even without any logic behind it.
It is not a "rumor". It is a hoax. A deliberate lie.
And NASA has nothing to do with it.

It was a hoax that started back in 2012.
It meant nothing then, it means even less now.
Its not on purpose, its a hoax.
Its not bad, its a hoax.
It says a lot about people that they get worried over nothing before doing even a bit of research to find out the facts.

Its a hoax - ignore it and don't worry.
Changes to stars just don't happen that quickly, the Sun can't 'turn off' for two weeks and then return to normal.
The 'scientists' that people are quoting don't exist and certainly don't work for NASA.
