Ok, for real? What's going on? Why is it that when you click answer section, rather than having a question being asked like 5 minutes ago the last one was 1 week ago. Wtf is going on?????

Hello there. I am a new java programmer and am learning about all the features. So my question is, is how can I add Strings into if else statements? I know how to do it with integers, but not strings.

Example with integers.

yes = 1;

no - 0;

Would someone please help me out by telling me how I can do this with Strings? I am trying to make a choose your own adventure game, and it would be very very helpful to know. Thank you very much!

Does the universe have to have a beginning? I don't see why we're concerning of how our universe was created. We concern about how things on Earth are created, because it has to have a beginning, but when it comes to our own existence who's to say it has a beginning?

I just don't get life right now. Like, what if the universe had no beginning. What if there is no God. Why are we even here? What's the point of this meaningless game? This isn't a video game. We can't just wake up and leave. We're just here. There is no answer for it or anything similar. We're just in this big bubble of an empty void, and live our lives normally but there is no point. If we die are we just going to sit it our graves for ETERNITY? Like, there is no ending. It's just forever. You can think to yourself, not in 5 trillion years you won't wake up. It's just infinitely forever. Then you think to yourself, that's not true. Why would that happen to you? That's too cruel for someone to do that. That's too cruel for someone to make you sit in your grave for eternity. Then you think that there is no such thing is too cruel, because no one made it like that. That's just the way it is. I noticed some posts about a "November Blackout". Can someone please tell me what this means? Is this on purpose? Is this bad? I'm just so confused and worried. Is is just a rumor or has it actually been confirmed? I just want to know. Thanks.

Last night, I had a strange but realistic dream. It sounds kind of weird, but it is what I recall. I was in a forest and I don't know how I got there, and there was a rat like creature that can kill me with one bite. It apparently was going after people as well. I wasn't scared at it though. I just wasn't. I don't know why, I just didn't worry about it. Does anyone know if this is a sign of something?

Hello, I've recently seen the words Sin, Tan, and Cos in an equation and was wondering what the meant. I want to start learning more about them and maybe start learning how to do problems with the. Can someone give me an easy definition of what they mean, and if possible, and example of where they can be used? Thanks a ton.
