Its very doubtfull Dez will be back
The difference between Cassell and Weeden is Cassell has more experience and a stronger arm however Weeden completes a higher percentage and throws fewer interceptions

Doubtful if Bryant will be back this week.
And that Dallas O-line did not look so good the past 3 weeks.
Cassel is an average QB at best. For him to lead Dallas to wins they have to run the ball consistantly and throw sparingly.

Actually, it depends on his work ethic during every offseason. If Matt Cassel works hard and performs very well in practice every day, he will greatly improve his chances of becoming a successful, top notch NFL quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys in the future.
Source(s): In all seriousness, I think we have seen enough of Cassel to know that, at this point in his career, he is what he is. - yLv 76 years ago
Cassel has proved that when coached up, he can win games, when he isn't , he doesn't. One of the reasons given for the switch and the film backs it up, is that he is more mobile and that supposed great O line, isn't pass protecting all that well.

The offensive line was built to improve the running game. Their Hall of Fame quarterback would not pass as often. And fewer passes is a whole, whole lot better for the Cowboys.

It remains to be seen how Cassel will do. He's certainly better than Weeden. He may be good enough to win against some match ups.

Well...it didn't help Weeden. He also had one of the best offensive line in the nfl
