Im terrible at maths?

Im in year 10 and in the last mock exams we did (in year 9) I got a D. I dont want to be bad at maths. Im willing to put lots of effort in. Do you have any tips or any resources that you could recommend to me?

If I can go from an E to a C in year 11 then you can go from a D to at least a C, maybe a B.

You still have two more years before your exam. Each year students roughly improve a grade so that puts you on a B by the end of year 11.

Work hard. Don't slack. Ask for help. Simple and good luck!

Most schools offer free tutoring. Visit your guidance counselor during your lunch period or talk to someone in the guidance office and ask where you can sign up for tutoring.

If that doesn't work, speak with your math teacher to see which arrangements can be made so that they're able to help you in math outside of class time.

Well you will have to put lots of effort to get better grades. Why? Cause most of us arent born with being good at math. Dont worry ask ur classmates for help or get private lessons

the key is to do loads of maths papers and make sure you go through the papers and make sure you understand every question after you go through it, preferably with a teacher or parent. took me about 5 past papers and going through them (making sure I actually knew everything) to go from a C to an A :)

online tutors are helpful bc they help you with hw and prepare for tests in case of an emergency, but i recommand getting a tutor that can help you maybe 2-3 times a week
