It makes no difference how old Abijah was, based on your question. Abijah was the SON of Jeroboam. And the almah in Isaiah 7:14 is a young virgin in prophetic context, and that prophecy was not fulfilled until 800 years later.

Actually six people were named Abijah in scripture and as far as I know none of their ages is given.
