If the trinity is true why does the bible never say the God son? It says God the father but never God the son or God the holy spirit?
Jesus never said he was God but he always said he was the son of God and that he has a God and father . The head of the church is Christ and the heat of christ is God? if the trinity is true it should say the head of christ is the father right?i believe the trinity until i started to think about this, even when jesus is exalted as a immortal he always is mentioned being under God and subordinate to him

Matthew 3:16-17 (ESV): And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him; and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”

Subordinate does not mean unequal. There is one God. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit have different roles within the Trinity, but all are equally God.

If Jesus was God, why did He say "The Father is greater than I" in John 14:28?

That is pretty much true. It is Catholic canon right there. You see, belief is that man cannot communicate directly with god [which I find hard to believe since God spoke to Moses, even if was a burning bush] but I digress. So it is through the holy spirit that the word of God gets to man, but you cannot get to God except through Jesus, so there you have the holy trinity. [not all Christian denominations agree on this canon either.]
