Home surround sound will these onkyo skh-410 atmos speakers work?
Upgrading my surround sound with an Onkyo atmos tx-rz800 and Bic Acoustech pl-980 towers which are 10watts min-300watts max, pl-66 surrounds 10min-175max pl, pl-28 center 10min175max, pl-200 sub which are all 8omh. But my atmos speakers are 6ohms at 100 watts max onkyo skh-410,and this receiver does 185watts for 6ohms wont it be to much for those atmos speakers and blow them since its olmost 2x the max watts? Should be a kickass setup for a 12x12 room even if the onkyo's skh-410 wont work with this.

Not necessarily Atmos speakers are used mostly for ambience and a few effects...so most of the time they have the minimal amount of current going through them compared to the other speakers involved in your system...If you have an action movie with a Dolby Atmos sound track that seems to be having a lot of information flowing into the Atmos speakers and you also have the receiver turned more than 2/3 way up...then it might be something to worry about...and the answer would be to not turn the amp up more than 2/3 of the way up while playing those type of movies...or just make it a habit to not turn the amp up more than 2/3 which is a good idea any way....
