So I was driving and the temp gauge is in the normal 185 and all of a sudden its goes to 0 then 2 min later it shoots back to normal 185... The next few days its works normal. Then stop for gas after driving and start it back up and its at 0 again keep driving it for 8 miles and it starts working again shoots back up to back up to 185.. Guessing its not the thermostat but the coolant temp sensor maybe? is the car safe to drive for away when it does this will it overheat maybe as I don't have the $ to fix it just spent $280 i for new brakes and rotors.

I found the blower motor behind the glove box but cant find the resistor anywere around the blower.

Is there a way you can get amp to shut off when you turn receiver off?

The amp says it does 2ohm at 775watts dual 4ohms at 525ohm dual 8ohms 300watts dual My tower speakers are 8ohms at 300RMS, So does the amp have a switch on it you have to set it to 8ohms for my speakers or does the amp know when you hook up the speakers that there 8ohm?

When I unhook the 2 mains from the receiver and run them though the amp to power them will the 5 remaining speakers still powered by the receiver being the center, the surrounds and the dolby atmos speaker get more watts to power them since the receiver doesn t have to power the 2 mains any more or are those watt just not being used

Bought the onkyo tx-rz900 and bic acoustech pl980 for the main speakers and want to get an amp since they can handle 300RMS. DO you just run rca plugs from the pre outs from onkyo to the inputs of the amp and your done or do you have to also unhook the 12g speaker wire for the 2 mains going into the onkyo and wire them into the amp ? And the amp am looking at is crown xls2002 which is 375 watts for each speaker.

I got a link sys e3000 and if I upgrade to the wrt1900acs will all my wireless be faster like laptop x1 and direct TV on demand or do you have to buy ac network adaptors for them to download faster?

Got an Onyko tx-rz900 receiver on the way,with 2 Onkyo skh-410 Atmos speakers. Was wondering if the xbox one.s bluray can do atmos for the bluray movies that are out for it or do you need special bluray for that? I know the newest transformers and American sniper are atmos movies so if I watch them on direct tv HD will it play in atmos or is it just though special bluray player for that? What about DtS-X when that comes out will that be able to play all the movies with out adding more then a DTS-X receiver and up fireing speakers?

Making a tv riser and got 3/4 inch thick red oak for the sides and one in the middle as its 36 long by 18 wide 6 inchs tall. They only had aspen big enough for the top am using wood glue and then 1- 5/8 inch wood screws. Also got 1/4 inch thick by 2-inch wide red oak strip for the back to help be more stable. My tv is 60 inch led that weighs 60 pounds I feel that will hold the weight of that but am going to upgrade to a 65 inch 4k next year that weights close to 80pounds. Do you think the aspen will support that weight? I wanted to do 1 inch thick but all they had was 3/4

Upgrading my surround sound with an Onkyo atmos tx-rz800 and Bic Acoustech pl-980 towers which are 10watts min-300watts max, pl-66 surrounds 10min-175max pl, pl-28 center 10min175max, pl-200 sub which are all 8omh. But my atmos speakers are 6ohms at 100 watts max onkyo skh-410,and this receiver does 185watts for 6ohms wont it be to much for those atmos speakers and blow them since its olmost 2x the max watts? Should be a kickass setup for a 12x12 room even if the onkyo's skh-410 wont work with this.

They both have 4k hdmi terminals but its says the 747 has hdcp 2.2 copy- protection compatibility while the 646 doesn't. Does that mean when I get a 4k tv it wont be able to play some 4k content or what?

Comparing the two in which to buy for home surround theater. Only difference I see is 1....747 has 10 watts more a channel for 8ohm speakers which is what am using I don't know alot about audio but that seem like nothing 2....h.c.p.s. it has a massive high power transformer which I don't know what that does?,. 3... is thx certified...4... its certified 4 ohm performance which I don't need as my speakers are 8ohm.5.....hdcp 2.2 copy protection compatablity 3/in-2/out. whatever this is? 6...hdmi support for deep colors, x.v. color lipsync ?7..wholehouse mode? Those are the difference for like 250 more bucks and I will be upgrading to a 4k tv in a couple years. Also I will be upgrading to a 4k tv in a couple years when they get more 4k media. Any audio guru out there please shed some audio knowledge in language to me the audio amateur can understand thanks. I don't mind spending the extra 250 if its features I will use even if its not till I get the 4k tv. but don't want to waste $$ on features I will never use like 4ohm speakers.

When I shut the tv off but leave receiver on I get humming from the 2 mains and I unplug the cable going into the powered sub and it goes away so its from the sub but only the 2 mains hum and only when tv is off is it a bad sub cable? Thankful they dont hum when in use just idol.

I got an hdd and a new ssd. So I boot the laptop from ssd. And when I go to computer it reads both the ssd and hdd but none of the programs from the hdd show up inless I boot from that drive and then the other drives programs don t show up isn t there a way to not have to boot from the other drive to use those programs. It defeats the point of having 2 hdd for one computer. Never had a laptop with two hard drives. How do you move a program from one drive to the other so you can make a desktop short cut and use it without have to boot from that drive? I don t want to migrate the whole hdd onto the ssd because it will fill the whole ssd up and theres a lot of stuff on there I don t need on the ssd.

She said she download an update from Microsoft and then her computer wouldn't boot. She brought to a computer shop and he said it wasn't a virus and said he couldn't retrieve the data as it was too corupt. So I checked out ssd"s and got her the Samsung pro 850 its is one of the best could the same thing happen to this were it crashes and you cant use it anymore as they not cheap like the hdd's

I got a qosimo that has 2 hdd slots and the extra one its missing the metal frame that screws down and holds the hdd into the plug. I look for hdd caddys and all I get is ones that replace your dvd so you can add another, but that's not what I need. All I need is the frame that plugs into the sata that you screw the hdd into called something different cant find a replacement one on ebay or newegg.

If I buy an ssd for my laptop do they come with a kit to switch the os and all your data from old hdd to the new ssd or do you have to buy something that does that

When I turn the laptop on it goes straight into windows boot manager the key board doesn't respond only thing that works is the power button. Does that mean my keyboard is broke or could it be hard drive crashed?

When I turn on laptop it goes straight into pick windows 7 and keyboard wont work. even tried holding f2 when starting it up and nothing. Only thing that works is on and off button. My mom said she left the laptop on and maybe the kittens bounced on it, So could they some how shut the keyboard off by stepping on it or something?
