Wood working help?

Making a tv riser and got 3/4 inch thick red oak for the sides and one in the middle as its 36 long by 18 wide 6 inchs tall. They only had aspen big enough for the top am using wood glue and then 1- 5/8 inch wood screws. Also got 1/4 inch thick by 2-inch wide red oak strip for the back to help be more stable. My tv is 60 inch led that weighs 60 pounds I feel that will hold the weight of that but am going to upgrade to a 65 inch 4k next year that weights close to 80pounds. Do you think the aspen will support that weight? I wanted to do 1 inch thick but all they had was 3/4
