Why are people allowed to be blatantly racist when it is against YA policy?

YA has a posting policy, and a corporate policy. In the event of a conflict between the two, a business decision will be taken.

For example, officially the site is restricted to those over 13, but the advertising revenue depends on the total site visitors, and all users can contribute to this total regardless of age.

Goodness only knows. I am being stalked on here by a racist troll who has found out my REAL NAME and is using it in his rants. Yahoo have been as useless as a chocolate teapot. Yes, file an official complaint they say...what is his Id? How would I know, since they allow him to be under 'Anonymous.'

Most racist questions are taken down pretty fast, so I dont know what u are talking about. Even questions that aren't really racist are still taken down, cuz people are very over-sensitive and report everything they personally don't like.

YA is a game, per Yahoo management instruction,

and playing well with others involves not being

politically correct all the time. Think of your

time in YA as a blind date. Marriage, not.

I have noticed something interesting. If I complain about racism against my people then they get even more racist and attack me but if I say something that they see as racist such as having race preferences when it comes to dating they try to convince me otherwise.

Because it stirs up racial tension between users. Almost every opinion section has racist questions directed towards blacks. Apparently, minority or black users aren't reporting enough, it takes several users to report a question or a comment before its taken down. It has nothing to do with the influence of the user.

I actually would like for some of this to stay up. People need to see the depravity. Basically people report, it's reviewed, and it gets taken down. Most of the time, unless people don't care to report. I never report unless it's child endangerment.

"Racist" is highly subjective. While some uses of racial epithets are obviously racist, a lot of cases of people crying racism is in fact not racist at all. The person crying racism often doesn't even know what racism means and merely seeking attention.

Also excessive anti-racist censorship leads to suppression of freedom of speech. And oppression is what most anti-racists should oppose unless they're hypocrites.

The Internet provides a safe haven for racist cowards to voice their meaningless opinions without being ridiculed in public. I live around white people and never see them act or talk this way around me or other blacks and other races. Just like the klan they hide who they really are.
