Locked out of my computer, won t let me access Windows instead requires a random password?

I have a toshiba laptop and it turns on perfectly fine then right after it leads me to a black start up with a "Enter password." Box so I put the password to my windows 7 account and it won t work. After a few attempts it says "system error now shutting down" ... Randomly this happened and idk why or how I can make it work right again

It's not asking for a random password, but the password you used when you signed up for your Windows account. Remember back to when you first got your pc, and part of the initial start-up process was to create a Windows account, with password. Only you know what password was used, so you have to deal with it. If you have to, use a pc that is already open, and search for a fix to yours. It will mean having to do something for yourself for a change.

Yeah if its a black screen it sounds like a bios password. Do you remember going into your bios at all, maybe to change the boot order when you installed Windows? If someone reinstalled windows for you ask them

It isn't the Windows password you need. It's the BIOS password.
