All churches are for profit. American churches received a record $114.9 billion in donations last year alone. God apparently needs your money.

No and the smaller ones wouldn't be anyways. Now the mega Churches seem to be in it for the money, I know because I used to go to one but now I go to a small Church that is really down to earth.

No. The message then becomes one of greed, the new god is money. A church should be able to pay the bills, minister, upkeep of the building without emphasis on building funds. The exception is when a new building or a special project comes along......part of the ministry.

What could a church offer that people would be willing to buy? God's love, His grace, forgiveness, and salvation are all free!
