What does N/ha/y stand for?

Example: "Leaching rates from dairy farms nationwide ranged from around 12–200 kg N/ha/y"

    (Kilograms of) Nitrogen per hectare per year.

    A hectare is the metric system's measure of land area, about 2 and a half acres.

    N is nitrogen, and I assume y is year.
