Novel help needed!!?

When u fully develop ur character then u will know how she will react. So I suggest you take this time to plan out and develop who ur character is. U will need to know everything abt her, including her past, and most of that info will never make the page, but u need to know as the author because it helps inform u of her actions and things she'll say. Readers will get a sense of who she is and they'll know when she's acting out of character. As a writer, u need to know this, too, but u need to know it before U write the story.

Why is this important, but not the answer u want? Because humans are complex. We're also individuals. We don't act, say, react, or do the same things that someone else will do. We don't feel the same. So there is no specific way EVERYONE will feel in this situation, either. Maybe she's seen as weak and this will show her how strong she is. Maybe she'll try to commit suicide cause she can't handle it. Maybe she'll try to kill her mom. Or rob a bank. ONLY U KNOW!!

This is where research can come in handy along with your imagination. What do YOU think will happen and how do YOU think it will affect her?

Without knowing your character's background, her age, her life in general and the story itself it's impossible for anyone to tell you how this will impact her.

This is a little awkward, but it's your novel. It's your job to think up this stuff.
