Help me find a desktop (preferred) or a laptop PC for twin 6 year old boys.?
Hi,
I'm looking for a desktop or laptop for my twin nephews. They already use the desktops at school and our laptops to play games on PBSKids.org and do school games. But we want them to have one for themselves at home. I don't have an old, used computer to give them and I'd want something kind of 'kid friendly'. I also don't want to spend a crazy amount of money either. Any suggestions??
Thanks,
Mary

It's all about tablets now. Most kids won't touch a desktop unless they have to once they have one. Get the current iPad mini retina. Then get a heavy duty protective case for it that is waterproof. Better yet get two cheap kindle fire hdx so they won't fight over the iPad.
If you want a desktop. Get a Dell, acre or HP all in one. With Windows 10, a Core i3 or better and 8gb RAM.

Hi Mary!
I'm sorry I can't help you directly, but I just came here to say that a laptop can't really be "kid-friendly" or not. You could get one of those "laptops" which are really more like games, but they can't acces the internet or anything. Laptops are pretty complicated, so I wouldn't necesarily think you could get one for a 6 year old
