Are things getting better economically in the US? Are elites still in control? How so? How does socialism limit their control in Europe?

1 - No. Things continue to get worse economically. The labor participation rate (the number of adults who are employed) is the lowest since the 1970's. We keep going deeper and deeper into debt. B0 has doubled our national debt since he took office - he has spent more than EVERY OTHER President combined.

2 - No. The special interest groups are in control. The "elites" earn their money (or at least their ancestors did). Their money is stolen from them and given to able-bodied people who simply choose to be leeches. How can you be in control when someone is constantly stealing your money?

3 - Socialism does not limit control of "elites." It limits the ability for anyone to become more than a peasant. It doesn't matter how hard you work or what genius idea you have. You'll never be more than a lowly peasant. Socialism doesn't raise up the bottom, it only brings down the top so that the bottom doesn't feel so bad about their situation.

That is done by the European People who refuse to let Big Business finance their politicians campaigns or give favors to politicians. To get elected, a politician must cater to the voters instead of Big Business.
