    Russian mafia sounds the same absurly like, for example, english yakuza.

    But i can answer "why it did start" - because somewhen in 50-60ss there was need image of enemy for unite people around government and distract from the urgent problems. And to "why is it occuring" - because problems haven't been solved and it will not solve much time.

    But who can, who is... It's difficult question. May be, you are?

    fantasy of Hollywood film makers started it. It impacts weak minds, who believe everything they are being told. The best way to fix it is education.
