Probably. If I have to award BA, that's who I want to give it to.

~~~ That would be rare, as the so awarded answers usually support whatever the questioner wanted to hear!
I have never awarded anyone a 'BA', because I don't ask questions. *__-
It seems rare - far too rare - for that happen in R&S, but I've done it.
Most questions in R&S are of the "bait and bash" sort in which the asker directs the question to a group of people with no intention of accepting an answer from a member of that group, but instead accepts the most bigoted rant against that group, as BA.
I actually ask questions about Bigotry in this category, because considering that bigots put faith in, and even evangelize their slurs here, it has long since become clear to me that Bigotry is a cult, and considering the faith that many of its followers continue to put in slurs after seeing the truth of a matter demonstrated to them, in such cases, I can only conclude that it's a mind-control cult.
The answers to my questions about Bigotry tend toward free-for-all retaliatory slur-slinging between two or more groups of people, including some who deny something on which my question is based. In that case, I tend to choose a rant that demonstrates that very basis of the question, as BA, since none of the so-called "answers" are all that informative.
Of course, when I do that, I run the risk that my question will be deleted along with the BA, when the BA is reported for its bigotry, rudeness, ranting nature, and other violations of the Community Guidelines.
Yes, numerous times.
Of course. I ask a question because I have not fully formed my own opinion yet. Asking one that I already have an answer to would be redundant.
Of course. That is what this place is really supposed to be about. Though many people ask for answers they already believe.
