Do undertakers sanitise jewellery before returning it to the family?
I got my mother's wedding ring back from the funeral home after she died in hospital. I'm a bit freaked for obvious reasons. For my peace of mind I'd like to know if the ring was likely sanitised before being returned to us? Thanks.
I do not need to be told to be glad I got it back. My question is a simple one about common business practice by undertakers. If you've nothing helpful to say, STFU.

Just be glad you got it back. I wouldn't worry about whether or not it was sanitized. You can always use jewelry cleaner or have it professionally cleaned.
