Jeb Bush said he'd kill baby Hitler if given a chance. Wouldn't a thinking man say "I'd try to have a positive influence on him" instead?

Hitler helped to make America what it is today, so it's a novel idea but what happened (other than the genocide) served the world the best. WWII was a way to clean up Europe who had as many Madmen as the Middle East does today.
An Isolationist US wouldn't have isolated the USSR and there wouldn't have been a Cold War, even our Economy would be completely different as Eisenhower wouldn't have become President and wouldn't have pressed for the Interstate Highway System that we have today and he and Kennedy wouldn't have started Civil Rights as they both did. The country would probably be completely segmented by North, South and West.
What am I talking about?
Could have, would have, should have.
After all of that Hitler happened and he was defeated like all bad guys should!

killing a baby...yes this is a incredibly disturbing thing to say and especially hear but having a positive influence on hitler is a ridiculous idea. I dont see how you think this could happen even if you or anyone else had the chance. Look at what hitler did, he wouldn't have stopped everything because someone told him to not do it and to have some gumdrops and lollipops. He was a force that wouldnt stop.

I like with Frederick said about Truman that's actually really awesome. But that is a very tough question I don't know if I would kill baby Hitler try to have a positive influence on them or just trap him in a cage forever. Ask yourself this would you kill the baby or would you spend your whole entire life trying to monitor him so he wouldn't make a mistake like killing so many Jews.

Would Jeb Bush kill a Baby Truman also? Truman napalmed 80 Japanese city's killing an estimated 100,000 in each one and finished the job by testing two Atom bombs on Two Japanese city's the one he dropped on Hiroshima almost didn't work only an amount of atomic material that weighed about as much as a dollar bill really went off.

Im a time traveler from thousands upon thousands of years in the future.
When we began our travels we tried to change many things but found that things were indeed set in stone. Everytime we would go back to prevent an atrocity or catcaclysm we became a part of it's cause or a useless part of the story that could not stop it.
We tried to kill hitler repeatedly when we discovered our new technology of time travel. Each and everytime it was unsuccessful because one cannot change the past but only become a part of it's happening and unfolding in some way.
It was the oddest of things to finally discover for us. The past is done even if you become a part of it, the present is entirely unchangeable, and the future is set in stone like a river flowing.

I would not do such a thing to tiny Hitler. I don't know if he was "predestined" to be such a plague upon the world, but if I was a relative and I saw disturbing signs, I would try to get him some help or encourage his parents to send him to relatives to live far out in the country, where he could have a peaceful life. But in the end, you don't know how someone is going to turn out. It's a combination of nature and nurture, and everything that happens to you along the way. Some people undergo gruesome torments, and never lose their faith in humanity.
Others brake a fingernail, and vow to commit genocide.

I would take the baby and raise him as my own. Perhaps... perhaps, I may have been able to steer him to the path of light.
EDIT: To answer your question, though, YES. Someone apparently didn't see classics like A Christmas Carol which prove that men can change, and that it's never too late to turn back and be good. Someone should have reached out to Hitler and tried to help him, spiritually.

I'm glad HuffPo is asking the important questions in this campaign. Where does Hillary stand on the use of non-existent technology to possibly alter history? If she had the chance, would she kill baby Nakoula Basseley who would one day make a video that may or may not have been responsible for the attack on the Benghazi consulate?

Wrong, turkey breath. For instance Catholic Charities use over 90% of donations on the needy. Brothers Brother Foundation in Pittsburgh spends all of it's cash on the needy. Donations are made to cover operating expenses. No one in the Salvation Army has a fat salary. The Red Cross relies on donations and does not have to do fund raising events.

Hitler would have probably been a perfectly normal guy if he hadn't gotten syphllis as a young soldier in WWII. Before there were antibiotics, syphlis was a major cause of insanity and homocidal behavior.
