My motorcycle will turn over and pop when hooked up to a car but cant get it to actually run.?

I need help, I am restoring an old 1994 Suzuki SR 125 se and it'll turn over but then it pop when hooked up to a car but cant get it to actually run. Any ideas what's wrong? Owner said it has new, clutch cable and lever, carburetor, starter, starter solenoid and throttle cable. Any help? :/

    Are the spark plugs clean? If not, clean and gap them or replace with new.

    Did you drain out the old gasoline and put in new? If not, do so.

    The carburetor may need adjustment, especially if it hasn't run since it was replaced.

    Are you using the choke to enrich the mixture when cold starting?
