What is the most interesting thing you have ever had to eat for Thanksgiving?
I am just looking for new ideas for what to serve on Thanksgiving. So, what's your most interesting or unusual Thanksgiving food (recipe is a plus).
Thanks, and gobble, gobble.

Unusual is not my thing for Thanksgiving because my family prefers to keep traditional. We do try a new dish or two every year, but it's always in that same autumn harvest seasony vein.
One of our biggest hits is bacon-stuffed cherry tomatoes, which is quite easy. You just slice off the very bottom of the cherry tomato, scoop out the insides (I use a 1/4 tsp measuring spoon), put them on a paper towel and let them drain. Then you make & crumble your bacon, season it up with mayo and scallions and cheese if you like and stuff the mix into the tomatoes.
A turducken sounds like probably the most unusual thing you could put on a table to me, lol.
Then again just break with tradition and have lobster or a vegetarian buffet or something.

My parents cooked a turducken a few years ago. It wasn't half bad, but it was super expensive. Not worth the money.
