What is Donald Trump's opinion about the metric system? Does he think we should completely replace US customary units with metric units, or?

does he think we should continue using both where appropriate?

The issues of using the metric system hasnt been raised in American politics in like 30 years so I doubt he has an opinion on the record at all. That being said, if the question ever came up, I'm sure he would go with whichever answer be thought best for pandering to his audience. So probably declaring an all out war against the metric system and all other attempts to Europeanize America.

I am not aware of any Trump remakr on the issue. But I would suspect that Trump, being a populist, would oppose the metric system, and would tell you how the metric system was causing all kinds of horrible problems like cancer and AIDS. That sort of hyperbole is typical of Trump. But then, he would conclude his thoughts by saying "But I am in favor of the metric system 100%." because Trump has an amazing audacity to contradict himself in the same sentence so that his supporters can just pick whichever comment he made that suits what they want.

And then for some reason people say he's unlike politicians.

Donald Trump is very concerned with the size of his hands/penis. I think it is safe to assume that he would favor the metric system over the english due to the conversion result.

    For example:

Donald Trump probably has a 3 inch hand/penis. This is 7.62 centimeters. 7.62 sounds a lot better when you're telling the entire country.

I think we've got bigger fish to fry right now. Besides, the money it would take to switch to metric at this late date would absolutely finish off what finances we have left.

Haven't heard him speak at length about that. His primary unit of measure is the dollar.

I don't think any of the candidates even have that issue on their radar screens.

He wants to get the Army to stop using kilometers, because it entices Mexicans into the Army

It doesn't matter what his opinion is -- the real powers-that-be are against making the change.
