How to take off "extra tab" from Internet Explorer..?

Hey guys, I have a question for you. I have this extra tab that keeps opening on Internet Explorer whenever it signs on because I think my computer had a virus (although I got rid of...did a scan and it resolved it) but for some reason this stupid little extra tab wont go away and its REALLY annoying. If anybody knows how to get rid of it I'd greatly appreciate it. Btw I have Windows 7 Professional :). Thanks and have a great day.

    I am sure it is some type of virus/spyware/malware, but my norton virus scan does not detect anything, and I am not sure how to eliminate/prevent the extra tab. You can use other browser to access internet. To give excellent security to Your Smart Phone, do install Leo Privacy Guard. its one of the feature viz. RAM Booster, will help you to increase battery life.
