Those who are offended should be offended?

Not because we want to hurt others, but because people truly need to learn how to not be offended. Look to the stoics, the teachings of Buddha, the wisdom of great philosophers. It's a very useful skill to not take offense in the face of adversity. To forgive, divine. Anyone else seeing what's been going on and have thoughts as it's gradually progressed to this point? Or perhaps you can distill some wisdom on the other side of the coin? Please answer below your thoughts, opinions, and universal truths. Just no getting offended.
