My friend posted this about elections. Thoughts? Is voting a scam?

Voting is not a scam. The proof is in the immense amount of time and effort the Republican put into SUPPRESSING the poor and minority vote. And the youth vote.

Your vote matters. Or Republicans wouldn't be working so hard to take it from you.

Believe it or not, there are actually some Republicans who think rich people should get extra votes.

If you're eligible to vote, but don't vote, then your vote is automatically counted towards whoever the winner will be in their mandate to govern. You are a part of the process whether you want to participate or not.

People who feel this way are the folks who think they are getting cheated if things don't go their way. Your vote counts the same as any else"s.
