Do all timeshare presentations have an age limit of 25?
I live in Houston and I recently was selected as a guaranteed winner by one of those promotional timeshare presentations, meaning that if I attended I was guaranteed to win SOMETHING whether I bought or not. However, they then revealed that I needed to be over the age of 25 and preferably married... I am 21, but I know people who have attended these seminars as young as 18 and won prizes.
From what I understand most companies these days require an age of 25+, but I wondered if there were any that anyone knew of that don't?

You know what you win? A little LED flashlight with their logo on it, the small lights you buy at the 99 cent store that you can put on your keychain Or other cheap trinkets. Otherwise the only other "prize" people win is a $2000 gift certificate towards the purchase of a time share
You need to be 25 for almost all companies and you don't win anything of value
As part of my graduate thesis in psychology I did a dissertation on time share presentations and how they use manipulation techniques. I attended over 20 presentations around the country. The best 'prize" I got was a small travel alarm clock that maybe cost $10. I got a mug, several flashlights (that's the most common), a mousepad, a hand held battery operated fan, a cheap beach towel and lots of "gift certificates" towards the purchase of a timeshare
Not one single person at any presentation ever won money, a car or whatever else they say you could win

I'm sure you already know (and others have mentioned) that the "prize" you actually get is probably not worth what you spent on gas to get there.
But the reason for the 25+ requirement is that by then people have had a job for a while, out of school, and probably have a bit of money saved up for down payments and fees and income that would qualify they for financing. Under that age the person may not have fully established themselves financially yet and are a lot less likely to be able to buy something. So it is smart marketing on their part, to qualify their prospects like this, regardless of what one thinks of what they are selling and how they sell it.

They want you to be well established in the working world and old enough to legally sign a contract because they intend to sell you a worthless timeshare.

They want customers to be older, so they will have a better chance of paying their outrageous fees. You would have better chances with online or twitter (legit) sweepstakes sponsored by on-the-level companies. I would not waste time or energy with timeshare dirtbags.
