Oliver Stone's film is a sensitive potrayel of the Vietnam War events,different from the official government view of the U.S.What's so amazing about the Vietnam War and most of its cinematic representation(as well as in other films) is its potrayel of the clash of cultures and the fact that a tiny nation had the guts to resist an invasion of the Superpower and eventually win this war forced on by the West.
