Do you have to take youre piercings out in court?

I'm visiting a court house and getting to sit in on trials in my highschool law class tommorow and I was told we have to go through security. Will I have to take out my nose piercing?

    It isn't required, but a nose piercing is NOT a 'professional' image, which you should want to present in court.

    Most likely not, but you should be ready for them to scan it, and likely should point it out to them before you walk through the metal detector.
