Has feminism taught you to stand on your own two feet or was it something that came naturally to you as it did me?

At times you hear feminists spouting off things like if it weren't for feminism this and feminism that and yet some of those same feminist were they to run into a situation where they had a "handy" boss wouldn't say a word in fear of being fired. I had a "handy" boss once and I told him plain as day he hired me for a specific job, and were he to fire me because of it or held my job over my head I'd have walked out the door; gone job hunting never to mention him - who is he; again?

Feminism has actually done A LOT for men and women, just look up the old US drinking laws that discriminated against men and the laws in most countries where men were seen as "unfit" to care for or take custody of their children. Feminism actually changed these amongst many other things.

I'm a feminist and if I'm hired for a specific job then I will do that job. You are entitled to take a copy of your signed job description and if your boss hires you for... bar work? maybe? and they then demand you clean the toilets you have a right to refuse if it is not included in your work contract. If they hire you to be a manager and call you into a meeting to make cups of tea then you also have the right to refuse.

Feminism opened my eyes to just how poorly women (and men) have been treated throughout time and it has allowed me to do a degree in a science subject that I really wanted to do which without feminism I would not be allowed to study. People need to stop being ignorant and listening to "feminist" internet trolls that hold women back and try to make feminism into extremism. We have to remember those are not feminists.

Standing on your own two feet is what comes natural to all humans if they chose too.

I always used feminism as an excuse and now I'm at the top of a major company. I don't know, I've had my share of problems but I just sued their asses and I've always had luck.

How comforting it must be for you to know that you are of "strong" character. If only everyone was as "strong" as you. Many women are people pleasers, or are dependent on their jobs. It depends on how we were brought up, I suppose.
