Do armadillos have razor sharp hooves?
My neighbor says armadillos have razor sharp talons like the pteradactyls of mythology and not to mess with them but as a kid we grabbed their tales all the time was that dangerous looking back?

When an armadillo is startled it can jump eight feet straight up. Broken noses and facial injuries are common for people who tease an armadillo. When a car collides with an armadillo, the animal often crashes through the radiator, crippling the car until the radiator is replaced. It can crash through the windshield, which is hard on anybody in the front seat.
Don't mess with any animal named after a city in Texas.
