Favorite places you ve visited--anywhere in the world--in the past decade?

Iceland. I've been about 10 times now and can't get enough of it. I was there again a few weeks ago and saw the Northern Lights when I was on the south coast

Sri Lanka -- spent 2 weeks there over Xmas 2013 and loved it, the temples, ruins, beaches,food, friendly people, scenery, elephants,etc

Slovenia -- I was there in May for the first time and need to go back. Absolutely gorgeous country with mountains and lakes, fairy tale architecture, delicious food and wine, lovely people and one of the most affordable countries in the EU. You can get a delicious meal with wine for about €10

Near where I live - Dawson City, Yukon. I like it so much here I became a tour guide so that I can share it with others. This is a pretty cool place. In winter - literally!
