Are you asking about lucky bamboo or true bamboo, ie the type that pandas eat?

If the latter then it s possible the bamboo will continue developing roots and produce new shoots in the Spring. Note that many bamboo plants produce dozens of new shoots when mature, but not all will grow.

If it s lucky bamboo, then I don t know as I only have experience with true bamboo.

Source(s): I grow and propagate over a dozen tropical bamboos. http://www.gator-ventures.com/

Bamboo isd=s very tough You cant kill it. If you have roots in the ground they will develop into new plants next spring.

Probably. Bamboo is pretty sturdy stuff. I guess it depends why the shoots died

It's just a matter of time. They are very resilient.
