As a guy is it okay to straighten my hair? (Girls only)?

No i love guys with straight hair and maintains it. But just dont over do it so its flat. Just enough so its not shaggy and all over the place. Buy a one in wide straightener. Maybe air dry your hair after washing and style it the night before school or going out for a bit more natural look. And ive been doing my hair for 10 years and its not damaged cause i do it every other day and get a temperature controlled straightener. Good luck

It's okay to do whatever you're most comfortable with. If you want to continue growing your hair out and prefer the look or shape of it when it's straight, go for it.

A lot of guys are doing man buns now, and some women find it unattractive, but maybe you want to try that out. It works well with longer partially curly hair.

Just know that straightening is a lot of work!!! It takes time, and you will hate doing it every day. Make sure to use heat protecting spray before straightening to prevent damage. Also, there are ways to get your hair straighter without using a hot iron. Try whatever works best for you.

Not that it's forbidden because hair is hair but it can make it unhealthy and im a girl and i don't even straighten my hair anymore. It's been healthier and growing a lot faster since i quit using heat. Like sur la mer said it does tamper with your hair. I think it's a lot more attractive when a guy just wears his hair how it is. My bf has naturally curly hair like i do and he shaves it off then grows it back out and just repeats that cycle but while it's still curly it's so cute. But anyways don't straighten it..heat damaged hair doesn't look cute on anyone.

I like guys with natural hair, meaning don't spend TOO MUCH time on their hair! Think Josh Groban hair!
