Once, during a heated protest and counter-protest, I ardently and enthusiastically sat in a café sipping a coffee and nibbling a pastry.
That taught those protesters a thing or two.

It's probably the smartest thing a person can do..because it's usually the one that tries breaking it up that get's hurt the worst, imo. That's two against one, and you being the one.
